CAPITAL CAMPAIGN - EXTENDED TREATMENT FACILITY
Each year, thousands of people turn to Glenbeigh to help conquer their battle against chemical dependency. While studies show that long-term, residential programs retaining clients for at least three months are highly successful, the facilities are not available to meet the demand. Currently only twenty beds are available for extended treatment - a place where people who no longer need the intensive care or structured schedule of a new patient, but who are not ready to return to their home, families or job, can continue treatment.
Extended treatment allows the recovering chemical dependent the opportunity to slowly transition back to their former lives and build the structure and contacts needed on the outside world before they make the full transition home.
The number of people seeking treatment at Glenbeigh continues to grow and the need for expanded extended treatment, for both men and women, at the Rock Creek campus is dire. Each extended treatment facility will accommodate 15 residents.
Glenbeigh’s goal is to raise $2 million in order to construct two individual units, one for men, the other for women, by December 31, 2010.
This project can only be realized with your support. Friends, family and alumni are invited to make a gift today.

Please contact the Development office at 800-234-1001 for information on naming opportunities and donations of tangible items for the construction of the facility.
