For patients who do not require the intensity of an inpatient program, Glenbeigh offers Outpatient Treatment, available at all Glenbeigh locations. (link to Glenbeigh locations.) The outpatient programs allow patients to live at home, continue to work or attend school while participating in treatment. Services include the following:
Assessment- Situations and circumstances affect each person’s life in unique ways. The effects of addiction on one individual’s physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social experience may be quite different from another’s. Our professional team conducts a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation to ensure the patient receives the help they need at the most appropriate level of care. The strengths and needs of each patient are identified and incorporated into an individualized plan for treatment.
Intensive Outpatient Programs – Known as IOP, this program is an intensive, structured clinical service designed to treat alcohol and drug abusers and addicts. The program addresses the treatment needs of patients whose clinical condition is such that they do not require inpatient care, yet are in need of a structured treatment program. Programs are available during daytime and evening hours in three (3) hour sessions; three to four days each week. The program consists of group therapy, individual therapy, family counseling and educational presentations. Family Program is held one session per week at each location. This service is offered to families at no additional charge.
Outpatient Programs – Also known as Continuing Care, this level of care is the least intensive, but just as important. Patients attend one group per week for a minimum of twelve weeks. Group focus concentrates on the adjustments involved with returning home, resuming work or school and living sober. The importance of a twelve step recovery program is consistently reinforced. Daytime and evening hours are available at each Glenbeigh location.
