As part of Glenbeigh’s continuing efforts to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, two infrared thermal temperature scanners were installed at the Rock Creek facility. Combined with the pre-screen, on-site screen and COVID test for all new admissions, this highly accurate, zero-contact, monitoring system helps minimize the spread of a potential infection.  All patients and staff will pass through the calibrated scanner multiple times each day. If a temperature falls out of the range of 97 to 99 degrees Fahrenheit, an alarm will sound. The individual will be rescreened and appropriate measures taken. Scanners are capable of monitoring several people passing through at a single time. All Glenbeigh staff continue to wear masks, practice social distancing and practice safe hand-hygiene.
