Glenbeigh welcomed representatives from Ohio’s Department of Public Safety to the Rock Creek inpatient facility on February 27, 2023. It was an opportunity to learn more about OhioASSIST, a program created to provide confidential support services for first responders, civilian staff and family members with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Guests toured the hospital and learned about Glenbeigh’s specialized first responder program. It was an informative meeting, sharing information on how to help people secure appropriate services. OhioASSIST learned about Glenbeigh’s first responder program: meeting with counselors and peer support staff who understand the stress and unique needs of first responder life.
Two members of Glenbeigh’s first responder treatment team agreed to participate in OhioASSIST’s upcoming Post Critical Incident Seminar in April to share their experience with other first responders.
Glenbeigh is honored to be recognized by OhioASSIST as a quality provider of addiction treatment for first responder staff and family and looks forward to working together in the future.
