DRUG & ALCOHOL EDUCATION PROGRAM
A comprehensive one-day education program designed for individuals who have been referred for an assessment, do not meet all the criteria for classification as having a Substance Use Disorder, but would benefit from education about the effects and consequences of substance abuse. Education is recommended as a way to prevent further substance use related consequences in their lives.
A Substance Use Assessment is required prior to enrollment. This is to ensure that early intervention through education is the appropriate level of care. Glenbeigh may conduct the assessment to determine eligibility or assessments from other agencies may be reviewed and accepted if education has been determined to be appropriate for the client.
Those interested in this new program must register at least by the Monday prior to the scheduled class. The cost is $200.00 per session and fees are due at check-in. Cash, Credit Card or Money Orders (Payable to: Glenbeigh) are accepted.
The Drug & Alcohol Education Program is offered the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one (1) hour break for lunch. Call Glenbeigh's Outpatient Center of Niles at 330-652-6770 for more information. NOTE: Current sessions are being held virtually. Call for dates of upcoming sessions.
