Because of their demanding jobs, many first responders turn to alcohol or drugs to cope with the stress of dealing with traumatic issues and life-threatening situations. The use of substances can often lead to addiction. Glenbeigh's first responder treatment program specializes in meeting the individual and unique needs of:
- Law Enforcement
- Corrections Officers
- Military Personnel
Glenbeigh's program pairs first responders with Certified First Responder Counselors (CFRC). These primary counselors are trained to understand the perspective and culture of first responders including the family structure of response teams and the impact of trauma experienced in the field.
Following the completion of detoxification, you will live with other first responders to build comradery. Glenbeigh understands that much can be gained when individuals with similar backgrounds, concerns and challenges work together and encourage one another while healing. Too often, first responders struggle with self-care issues which is why Glenbeigh offers a holistic approach to address specific needs and help you heal. We understand that many first responders avoid seeking treatment to avoid having it appear on their work record. Glenbeigh specializes in confidential addiction treatment. We offer to work with EAP's so our patients leave with a discharge plan that focuses on continued recovery and a safe return to work.
Glenbeigh is dedicated to helping the men and women on the front lines who are dealing with alcohol or drug issues. Read more about our First Responder Program.
Glenbeigh's first responder program is vetted by Fire Fighters Behavioral Health Alliance (FFBHA).
